Hi Brian, great as usual, but pls take a look at the video, it seems to have unedited sections, not sure you intended them there,,,,and on my player it gets stuck in those sections…….thanks as always!
Brian says
Thanks for the heads up. I’m re-uploading - will be live in a few hours

Hi Brian,
Nice lesson Brian, and yes there are a lot of good learnings here - a few lights certainly switched on for me. Understanding the use of scale patterns over (major) chord shapes seemed a lot easier to grasp when using major scales.

The Soundslice features are terrific. Transposing keys, slowing down, etc., are a great help. This makes Active Melody the best online guitar course in the country. Great work, Brian!!!!!!

Easily…. Brian’s best lesson thus far and I’ve consistently rated several other lessons way up there (e.g. EPO31 & EPO37) but even with several real winners, this Brian’s best overall lesson! It’s like guitar boot camp here……..Brian just pumps out all sorts of cool theory and technique on top of a specific fun solo! Learn this solo, impress even the most unimpressed folks and pay attention to all the superior inherent knowledge and cool tones going forward!! Try absorbing all this and not feel you’ve grown mightily on guitar!! Brian’s on fire!!

Challenging lesson (for me), but full of great licks and as usual, Brian is a gifted instructor, forever and patiently explaining the workings of chords and scales in an easy and entertaining manner. Thanks Brian!

Really nice to piece to sink you teeth into. I used the EP091 with guitar jam track once I got this one down to certain extent so that I would have a backing rhythm guitar with band track to play along with rather than just the band.

Really enjoyed this lesson….love the turn around at the end.
Thanks Brian!

A gem of a lesson….you will not find this level of knowledge and technique anywhere else on the net..great work Brian….!!!

On gear Icon mode, running along the tablature, the video keeps stopping and starting. Is there a reason….Master
Brian says
@mastmarr - make sure you don’t have a section highlighted - (it would show up as blue), that would result in the video looping over and over again in that section

This is an awesome lesson. I’m still working hard on this lesson, but it’s so much fun! Even as a beginner, you cannot fail, just need some patience. You achieved to cram into this lesson half of the history of country and rock ‘n’ roll ;-) fantastic, so much useful information! This sort of ‘multi-channel learning’ with your video lessons, and sound slice, AND playback makes it so much easier :-) Thank You Brian!

I’m having a blast advancing my guitar playing. For an old dude on a fixed income the price is really reasonable. Cheers and thanks for being so generous with your knowledge.
ElCraigoDeluxe says
Thanks Brian for your patient and lucid explanations. Your lessons are packed with iconic licks I’ve always wanted to learn. Life took me down other paths much of my life, but now that I’m enjoying my second childhood

Hello Brian, in this lesson in the Key of E you make mention of briefly going up from the E boogie lick to D quickly before going to A. Is this because D is the flatted 7th of E? This is my first posted question and I did not know where to post to benefit everyone. It was just a side comment not mapped out with the lesson. Will this work with other guitar frriendly keys as well ?

G/day Brian,
Thank you so very much for this one. And you’re right, there is so much knowledge in this lesson. Love that thing, and keep up the great work. Thanks again.

Brian this is a great lesson. I guess I didnt look too much at it when you posted it because it was out of my skill level and EP091 was such agreat forrunner at a tempo to keep me busy for a year or two. But I am now advanced enoughh to be able to takle this great lesson So thank you. JohnStrat

What an awesome lesson!,,I had stuck this in my favorites when you released this but didn’t completed it until tonight I best put it away for the ruled February2017 challenge! Hoping you do more like this in 2017.. not too fast but yet challenging all these cool double stops. A lot of these country licks remind me of Jimmy Hendrix licks..Fun as always Brian thank much for a wonderful site!
