Why is there no settings icon above to enlarge the sheet music ????
JoLa says

This is super cool, Brian. Thank you. Can you (or someone else in the Active Melody community), help me understand how to count the second measure of the four chord (D7)? I’m a beginner and working on keeping time. I understand how to count the measures of the one chord (A), as well as the first measure of the four chord (D7):
One chord:
1 | 2 | 3 and | 4
1| 2 and | 3 and | 4
1| 2 | 3 and | 4
1| 2 and | 3 and | 4
Four chord:
1 | 2 | 3 | 4
HERE IS WHERE I DON’T KNOW HOW TO COUNT THE REST OF THE 2ND MEASURE OF THE FOUR CHORD. I know it begins, 1 and | BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FINAL 3 BEATS??
Don D. says
Hi Paul, best place to ask about this is on the Forum (in dropdown at top next to Weekly Lessons). There’s a category there to discuss Active Melody lessons and a lot more people will see your question. Sorry I couldn’t give you the answer, this is my weak spot.
Just copy and paste what you asked here.

Catchy little tune. It sticks in your head. This is the kind of tune I’ll sit there and play about 50 times until my wife goes berserk! 🤣

The Micro Lessons really help me get new playing ideas faster and add to my tunes; don’t take as long to learn. Prefer them, but also enjoy the regular lessons when I have the time.

Another really nice and informative lesson Brian… and great fun to play. By the way, I much prefer this background to the previous one, the lighting on the back wall is not so harsh and the shelves stacked with LPs is a nice cozy addition….

Love the micro lessons. Maybe bite size in delivery but plenty to chew on. By the way this background looks great. A well balanced room with the correct level of lighting and in the right places. Just a cosy but sophisticated setting. Nice one!

Hi Brian,
Really handy exercises that time wise are just right to fit in amidst the day’s goings-on.
Thanks

HEY BRIAN REALLY NICE LESSON. AT 20 SECONDS OF PART A YOU START SOME ADDITIONAL PART. CAN WE GET THAT PART OF THE LESSON?
Don D. says
Thanks Brian, really cool pattern, exactly the kind of thing I’m looking for.

Great lesson. The one area ( although not the only one) where I am weak is on timing . Lessons like this help.
Thanks

Love the shirt, where can I get one?
Susan W says
I had the same question!
Bradley H says
I also have the same question!
Norman says
Hey Brian, a technical question. In the D7 lick you play the E note on the B string, which isn’t in the D7 scale, but is is the A scale, right? Then in the example riff up the neck, you stick to the D7 scale?
Thanks
Rob S says
Ditto all of the above compliments Brian.

I really like this, it has the licks in it and an ending lick. They are incorporated into a melody. And ate moveable. Thanks Brian. Mel

Hello everyone. Does anyone know if I can stop and repeat the notes on the playback feature. I can set the red line but it plays to the end and I want it to repeat a single bar instead of going all the way to the end. I hope this make sense to you guys.
Thanks,
Mike
