Blackstar’s newest offering – they have redesigned their HT Club 40 MKii amp to use 6L6 tubes instead of the usual EL34 and it comes with an Eminence Screaming Eagle speaker instead of a Celestion.
Clean channel has 2 voices to give Fender and Marshall clean tones; Drive channel has a 3 band EQ with their ISF control. The ISF control varies the tone stack to give American, Fenderish clean tones to a nice Vox chime in the middle of the sweep to a Marshall tone
Seems like a nice sounding amp for $799; the EL34 version of this amp gets great reviews and I expect the 6L6 model will as well.
