This is a great live version of “Wham” that shows the joy Stevie got from playing with one of his mentors, Lonnie Mack. For an insight into SRV’s early success and his description of gear to theory I recommend a Guitar Player magazine interview from 1984 that headlines “There were crabs and strippers everywhere”

I saw Stevie Ray 3x in Cincinnati, which was Lonnie Mack’s hometown; twice Lonnie was there and they closed out the show with Wham!! and I think that they played Memphis.
Lonnie’s album Strike Like Lightning is really good

Hey Keith,
Hopefully the link to the interview shows up here.
