November challenge response Werner

Here is my contribution. Maybe not exactly what Brian expected, but still. This challenge was hard for me, because I don’t have a repertoire of licks, I make them up as I play along.

I started with Smokestack Lightning from Howlin’ Wolf, followed by Dust my Broom, Elmore James and a thousand others, e.g. John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers and then Spoonful, Willie Dixon and The Cream.

Please just don’t listen to the quirks.

You get coolest submission of the month, Werner, playing the most classic licks combined into a cohesive composition. Love that special Memphis souvenir, I think that added some magic sauce to the performance.

Great licks, Werner! Once I found an ancient Active Melody lesson on that Smokestack Lightning lick. It wasn’t listed as an EP, because Brian mentioned he never could turn it into a proper lesson.
