I picked up the new double cut thinline from Benford Guitars this morning. What a beauty! Played it for about an hour or so already and the Seymour Duncan P-Rails are really impressive.
A gratuitous pic of my guitar room is included here.
It’s worth taking a look at benfordguitars.com . Look in the gallery under 1/2 customs and you’ll find a couple other guitars he made for me.

Nice family picture!
I’ve often wondered about the P Rails from SD. Vox had a line of guitars that had similar pickups – I don’t remember if Vox or SD were the first to come out with their version.
A lot of versatility with those; hopefully a sound byte will be posted soon -

Thanks for noticing. Currently using a wet/dry amp setup so the top row goes to my clean amp and the bottom to the dirty amp.

A lot of versatility with those; hopefully a sound byte will be posted soonI am pleasantly surprised with the P-rails. Really nice P-90 tones, especially the bridge, and the rails pups are a good match for them. SD has done a nice job with these.
