I am a visual learner and like to see stuff written down. Probably one of the reasons I’m not a great guitar player cause my ears should do more of the heavy lifting.
Anyway maybe there are others out there who suffer as I do.
here is some visuals added to Brian’s lesson PDF which might be of assistance in extending the lesson up the neck in the way Brian suggested.
Oh well back to the guitar.

I am working on the A Major pentatonic scale. Being able to play it in the first 12 frets and being really comfortable with the position of the root notes on all 6 strings.
Here is a summary of what I am trying to get my head around. If I have made any mistakes please shout out.
