Water look deep and cold. 🙂
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Ha, I was hoping you’d be smart enough to tie a rope onto it, so you wouldn’t have to jump in and swim after it.

Is that beers or bears Billy?Yes to beers. You pretty much always have to assume there might be potential bears or other wildlife in whatever area you are in Alaska. It is not unheard of to see a bear smack in the middle of the city. In fact, we had a black bear that kept eating our neighborhood garbage two years ago. He used to eat it right out side our front door and stare at us while doing it. See pics of our visitor and map where the pictures where taken.
So you always need to be bear aware! Moose aware too. We saw a baby moose on the way to the cabin this weekend. My first thought when seeing a baby is…Where is Mama?!?! Mama bears and moose are can be very aggressive and dangerous if you get too close their young. So it is always good to spot Mama after seeing a little one and make sure you are not in between them and their young. One should also not come between me and Humanity. It could get ugly quick. 🙂
The lake water is warm. My daughter had to wait all weekend for us to stop work on the other docks so she could jump into the Lake to me from the new party barge. We had fun. There is a slight shock when you first jump in but after that you don’t notice. We have been having a really warm summer here.

@gquellet: Gary, you know what I am talking about! I have heard stories from mountain bikers up here in AK having to out run a bear. Jeez… This is especially impressive since Grizzlies can run up to 30 mph in bursts. Yikes!
