Again – I got some famous help. This time it was CCR.
I created the backing track with the Band in a Box software and the rest spontaneously from my fingers. You can hear it in some of the “funny” sounds.
But first I’ll show you a few impressions of our trip to the Home of the Delta Blues.
Thank you for watching.

Hi Werner , nice take on this classic full of rich harmonies you play it so well!
Love the run at around 2:34 , that’s harmonising at its best 👌.
Those pictures of your recent trip are so cool and a fine addition to your wall space .Martin

Werner,
What a great idea. Wonderful pictures of your trip to Clarksdale. In addition, you tie the melodies with harmonic riffs into a nice arrangement. BTW-your pup’s tale started waggin’ immediately when the music began. Love it. Well done.John

Great job incorporating this technique in a crowd favourite.
So glad we didn’t have a Mike Pence moment. Totally understood if you don’t get the reference.

What a fun tune to play for this challenge, Werner. You were tight with the band and stepping out front with the lead. Love your artwork. You might be the only one in Germany with a picture of Clarksdale Mississippi on the wall. 😀

Bouncing along nicely there, Werner – a real toe tapper and a great choice.

Very cool, Werner. Love those photos, and your playing was first level. I’m also a big CCR fan, and after listening to Bad Moon on the Rise for years, my wife finally asked me what do they mean by “There’s a bathroom on the right”?

Another enjoyable performance by Werner & Lab!
The harmonies worked perfectly with this classic, and even added a nice bounce to it.
I see that the Acoustasonic is your favorite guitar, isn’t it?🎸JoLa

Yes, Lola, you’re right. I really like playing the Acoustasonic. But for a funny reason – it’s much lighter than a Strat or even a Les Paul. Thanks for your encouraging comment.

Hi Werner, great ear to hear these harmonies in that classic song. It works so well and you played it with flair. Well done! Your photos are wonderful. They look like paintings and really look amazing in your music room.

To be honest – it´s not my “music room” but just a part of our living room.
Music is a big thing in our family so we “live” with all our instruments.

That’s a rollicking good time Werner! Nicely played with. Joyous up tempo feel, nothing “bad” about this 🙂
Very cool art…did you collect that on your trip to Mississippi? Or are you the artist?-
February 9, 2025 at 2:17 pm #387935
Neither, nor.
They are photographs that we took ourselves on the trip.
Printed on canvas, they absolutely look like little works of art.
And we love to change the look of our walls now and then by decorating them with memories of our travels.

Awesome rendition Werner! You made a great choice for this challenge!

Great pictures Werner and great that you met Don D. (if understood that correctly).
CCR is an all-time favorite of mine, so needless to say that I enjoyed your performance very much.
Von dem Trip musst Du uns am Freitag erzählen.

Great choice Werner! One of my favorite CCR songs! Eye for an eye . . . Great double stops along the way!

A great choice for this challenge! Your skillful hybrid picking managed to carry the melody on two strings, which takes some doing. You also moved it around on the fretboard nicely. I was toe-tapping along with you almost from the very start. (You need to teach your dog to tap, too, or maybe wag like a metronome.).

What a great idea to let the bad moon arise for this challenge, Werner. And the harmonies you play almost turn it into a good moon. Great performance with a full version of this CCR classic and fantastic pictures of a surely unique trip! That was fun throughout!

Can’t help but tapping my feet listening to this, Werner. What a nice rendition to this classic song, and to incorporate it with the harmonized 6th for this challenge, very well done!
