This was a welcome challenge, as I’ve been working on 2 string harmonies. Specifically using them to connect various CAGED voicings. So I treated this as a training exercise for fretboard mapping.

I used 537 as a starting point, a simple 1-4-5 lesson. In addition to the 2&4 string harmonies I used the lead from 537, some other harmonies (strings 1&2 and 2&3)- and as I’ve been really into 602 I threw in the “triangle+rectangle” box at the end. 🙂

You made your “exercise” sound nice and melodic, Alan. Loved the relaxed swing of the shuffle, it seems like you have mastered the harmonies in a few places on the neck. Alan, that was making excellent use of harmonies and it didn’t sound like an exercise at all. I find this very enjoyable to listen to. Listening to all the other contributions but this one in particular makes me think I should study harmanies much more intensively. There is so much you can do with it.
