What software are you using to create your jam tracks?
Well, I write and record them all myself and use Sonar 8 for a multitrack recording studio. It allows you to record both MIDI and analog. The drums, bass and organ (or piano) are all recorded in MIDI via my keyboard, and the guitar parts are all run through a Line 6 M13 – that’s what I use for all of my tones. A lot of people ask what am I’m running things through for these recordings and the sad fact is that I’m not using any amp, just the M13 straight into my computer. When I DO play with an am, I use a Fender Blues DeVille (circa 1995).
