I LOVE Gilmour’s playing! I don’t know much about tone setting but I definitely heard some Gilmour style in there, especially in the slow bends.

Sounded pretty spot on to the ‘Shine on you crazy diamond’ tone. Nice tone and playing. Now for the huge solo sound of Gilmour, just add a big muff or some other fuzz type distortion to it.

That is good Blue! Gilmour is always a fun style.. I tell you , a lot of these lessons will help in the long run too for Gilmour style.. even though Brian only has one gilmour lesson.. Gilmour is basically all Dorian Pentatonics with incredible phrasing i remember using a boss chorus delay pedals { that’s what yours sounds like ) tried over the years on and off trying by ear this style .. now I have two pedals a mad professor golden cello and a keely darkside ( which is suppose to get pink Floyd tones) .. Plenty of good Gilmour tabs online for free too.. I suppose I will eventually try some good tab classic Gilmour solos to use
I just like using my yamaha THR10c and can get pretty close enough.. wish you were here echoes .. darkside of the moon animals are my favorites to try soloing.. I can start on a few them soon i guess. .. yes this cool track..btw plenty gilmour jamtracks on youtube too!

I’m a Pink Floyd fan from way back. This certainly had the tone and effects that PF was known for. Well done Blue.

Well done; in any case, that’s the right way. Great DG sound.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Nice tone! I’m also trying to get this kind of tones, clean and warm.
There are some excellent resources out there like http://www.gilmourish.com/ – I bought a Pink Flow pedalboard after seeing it there and I’m super happy with it, but maybe for the compressor I prefer the Boss CS2.
Also check out this video, it sums up the key points to sound like DG
