Frank does a very interesting take on this Hendrix standard. Instead of doing his take on Jimi’s licks, Frank utilizes some very standard blues licks that we’ve all heard. His version of Voodoo Chile actually reminds me of some version of Hootchie Cootchie Man. Around the 3 minute mark, he breaks into a searing lead that is the pedal to the metal
Really good version of this song
