Anyone remember the Fender Performer? Yeah, me neither
From Reverb.com
Built in Japan, the Fender performer was a short-lived attempt by Fender to capture some of the pointy guitar craze of the ’80s. This guitar features two white plastic humbuckers and a headstock similar to the Fender Swinger. The performer was also made as a bass.
Years of Production: 1985 – 1986

Not mine, 2 of these are for sale on Reverb.com and I thought that it might interest some of the Fender fans
I saw a guy playing one on YouTube a while ago – had no idea what it was.

Quite a hideous looking creation imho, Fenders own humbuckers?.
..Billy..
Wow that’s rad. Maybe they dug the cutaway deep and eliminated a pickup for the 24 frets.

I’m glad I don’t remember this creature…….uggghh

As a guitar it’s just ugly. As a bass, it’s hidieous.
