Its been a long time since my last post. 2 surgeries has left my left hand a bit weak. So my playing is not as smooth as it should be. So I heard this and it has a nice call (lead) and response (chord) in a jazz style. Anyway here is my first go at it.

Smooth chords changes there,Ken.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Still sounds great, Ken. Do you anticipate you’ll get the normal strength back?

I think so. My dexterity will improve too. The quickest way there is to just get on with it.
ThanksKen F

Sounds like you’re getting around pretty smoothly Ken. Great Jazz Tone, and what a killer ending riff.

It sounds very good to me! Very well played and enjoyable to listen with a great jazzy tone! Impossible to guess you had 2 surgeries seeing you playing so smoothly! Great job!

I love jazz guitar and the chords that go with it, this sounds really great Ken.
I really appreciate the issues with hand surgeries as I seem to go through a surgery on one or the other hand every two years or so. Very impressive that you can still manage to play chords like that – I don’t think I can anymore. Kudos to you for coming back to the guitar, I got so frustrated that I gave it up for years at a time.

Really cool, Ken, sounds great! Good luck with your continued rehab. Playing guitar can only help, just listen to your hands if they start barking.

Loved it Ken, two surgeries in, that still sounds good. All the best for your complete recovery.

Wow Ken! Sounded awesome. Great lead and chordal play here. Sorry to hear about your hand and hoping that you get back to full strength sooner rather than later. Keep on pickin’ and all the best! 🥸🎸🥸
