Hi Catherine, wonderful playing, and what great quality of sound you’ve created here. I felt like I was in a cabin by the fire, listening to the old radio on a country station while the snow fell outside. Great feelings in the music.

Catherine you made that look like a breeze, I found this challenge really hard both mentally and on the fingers. Good to see you’ve sorted the computer sounds good!

Truth be known this was one difficult challenge I’ve done. Although I’ve always had a high level of respect for country music players after attempting this myself, my respect for them has certainly heightened. Thanks for your comment!!!!

Real nice, Catherine. The added “twang” fit this track perfectly.

Beautifully played, loving the twang. Reminds me of a Hank Williams tune…

Gorgeous and melodic bends Catherine. You tie it all together nicely in both a melodic and harmonic arrangment.

Who says you need a Tele to Twang? Super sounds from your Les Paul. Glad you got your recording situated, it’s sounding good!

I just watch and learn. Listen and learn. Never a note out of place. Never one that doesn’t have some feeling.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that your videos get hundreds of views on YouTube. -

Beautiful as always, Catherine.
What a cool compact studio you have now, even with the pedal board nearby. After going crazy in my early days buying all kinds of guitars I really respect having one main guitar that you can get all kinds of quality sounds out of.

That was beautiful Catherine! So well played and a nice country feeling too! That’s a nice recording setup you have and your audio and video were great.

Great country submission, played to perfection with super-accurate bends. I understand perfectly what Michael says about the atmosphere of this.

Wow, you’re looking pretty high-tech there, Catherine. You’ll be glad you got into it, in the long run. But us people Down Under don’t want to hear “stay warm”. It was 30C some places in New Zealand yesterday. And even hotter in Oz.

Beautifully arranged and played, Catherine!
Love the way you added some “twang” and made it your own and made your Les Paul go all country! It is good to see you’re getting into DAW recording and your studio looks so cute, so many toys to play with, how fun! 🙂

Beautiful dreamy submission Catherine! Congrats!
If I wasn't making mistakes I wouldn't be the kind of player I want to be. Perfection is dangerous.

Gotta love the new toys when it comes to making music! Nicely done Catherine – sounds so sweet! Yes, stay warm. We had a week of MINUS 29 C. a coupla weeks ago. Then, of course it was almost +15 last week! Nice comp here Catherine – always enjoy your playing

What a delightful playing, Catherine.
You really taught your Les Paul the soft twang.
It’s just a beautiful melody and it’s even more beautiful when it’s played like you doTake the chance to meet your AM friends on Zoom
The next Meetup will be in spring 2025There will be a detailed announcement here in the forum a few weeks before.
I look forward to meet you.

Beautiful rendition, Catherine. I also like the twang you put in there. I also couldn’t help but notice you little studio. Very neat and it looks like you have everything you need right at your fingertips. Very effective!
