(30 seconds long.) Aren’t acoustic guitars great? I kinda like how he’s playing the A chord like we all once learned. A very special little video. ❤️

Very cool! I wonder how many of us remember the classic “Saturday Night Live” episode where the Dan Akroyd and John Belushi (a.k.a. The Blues Brothers) went to Brian Wilson’s house and knocked on his door to rescue him from his introverted life. At that time, Brian had not left his bedroom for years. So they decided to capture him and force him to go with them to the beach and paddle out on a surfboard. They used the lyrics of his own songs, like “Come on Brian. Let’s go surfing now, everbody’s learning how, come on a surfari with me.” It turns out Brian the Beach Boy had never surfed a day in his life, and couldn’t even lie on the surfboard without falling off. None of the Beach Boys had a clue how to surf, and seldom even went to the beach. They just used the surfboards and surfer style clothes as props.

Wild. I may take this and overdub my wife’s name for her birthday!

Great story about SNL and Brian.
The session musicians like Hal Blaine and Carol Kaye recognized Brian’s unusual ability and talent during the Beach Boys early recordings calling him the Mozart of Rock. Dylan is sincere in his birthday best wishes.
