I recently purchased a LSF foot switch for my new Line 6 Catalyst amp. It came with no instructions. After looking online I didn’t see anything that addressed it.
Does anyone have any tips on how to use it? Thanks in advance if you have any suggestions.
Hi Tom. I just did a brief search on YouTube for “line 6 lfs2 footswitch” and got quite a few results which should help you. From what I understand, 1 button selects the channel and the other button turns on/off the current effects when you plugged the footswitch in.
There also appears to be some Catalyst Edit software you can load on your computer to configure the footswitch for different options.
Hope this helps and Happy New Year.

Hi Joe,
Thanks. I did not want to get in to using the computer with it. Just wanted to switch from effect to effect. Apparently all you can do is turn the effect on it the footswitch and off. If you want a separate effect you have to go over to the amp manually and turn the switch to that effect and then the footswitch will allow you to turn it on or off.

I like The Moody Blues too!
I think you understand the switch. The software didn’t look that difficult to use.
