Learn to play blues guitar.
Home › Forums › Discuss Songs / Music › Folks this is some of the most insane playing & improv that I’ve ever heard
Yeah, it’s jazz and piano but OMG. You have to watch this to believe it
As a young teenager my first two guitar teachers were jazz players and did their very best with me, encouraging fills and progressions from the jazz genre. In those days I listened to Barney Kessel, Wes Montgomery and Joe Pass but perhaps I should have concentrated more on Oscar Peterson, as that improvised blues progression was astonishing. He was certainly one of the very best and admired by his counterparts.

That was truly amazing. Thanks, Keith.

I love Oscar Peterson. Such great feel, groove and dynamics. Not to mention all the rest of it.
