I’m a premium member and I’m signed in but when I go to a lesson I get a message that say “please sign in so we know you are not a bot”.
This doesn’t happen all the time but it is a PITA when it does.Any idea?
Thanks

I’ve been a member for like 9 years, and I’ve never heard of that happening. So maybe it’s not originating from the AM site. I wonder what else it could be. Maybe your browser? I use Safari and Firefox about equally. Send the question in an email to:

The mysterious world of cyberspace! I reply to quite a few posts but when I hit posts with my reply there is nothing there. Is anyone seeing this reply?

So when you hit Submit, nothing shows up? Never happened to me on Safari. But….sometimes it takes a minute or so to appear.
Also, even though I set the AM Login to “Remember me”, it doesn’t always remember me. So maybe every 10th time I go to AM, I open the AM page and it tells me I need to log in. Then I log in as requested, and a page comes up telling me “You’re already logged in”. Could be some kind of internet speed issue, but all of New Zealand is on fiber optic broadband, over 300 Mb/s. I wonder what is the internet speed in Tennessee.

I think you’re seeing a message from YouTube not AM. YouTube is asking you to log in to YouTube (The free videos are hosted on YouTube). I’ve had the same thing from time to time and there have been other posts about this too.
I’ve had it on embedded videos in other places e.g. Videos embedded in emails from Fender so it’s nothing to do with AM.
I’ve moaned to YouTube about it but you won’t be surprised to hear I’ve had no response. And I agree it’s a total PITA especially as actually being logged into YouTube doesn’t seem to make any difference. -

The same thing happens here. I have a Mac Studio running Sonoma 14.6.1 and use Safari as my browser.
When I click on a Free Guitar lesson I get the message in German “Sign in so we can see that you are not a bot”. I am of course logged in to AM and Youtube and other videos on the site and soundslice also work.Who knows what to do – the first video is the most important part of every lesson.
It would be particularly annoying for Brian if this behavior would also show up with no members yet on his site.
All the best to you and have a blessed Christmas
Werner
