I only have one small remark: there is not one but three different minor scales. The one you mention is the “natural” minor scale. But there are two other (very important) minor scales:
– the “harmonic” minor scale: C D Eb F G Ab B C (W H W W H WH H)
– the “melodic” minor scale: C D Eb F G A B C (W H W W W W H)
The harmonic minor scale, in particular, is extremely important in tonal music. Without it you’re stuck in modal-ish harmony.
