It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Very cool indeed, Pete. I was not a Vietnam vet, because I was working on my PhD and my local draft board told me I would be serving the country better if I stayed in my degree program. But almost all of my male friends of my age are or were vets. And quite a few of my friends never came home. Some were killed in action. Some (at the end of the war) chose to leave the US and have been living in various Asian countries for years. The Vietnam war was probably responsible for me choosing to immigrate to New Zealand and become a NZ citizen.

Next week I return to Thailand where I was stationed during the war. I’ll be cycling also. Be there for a month. Hope to post many pictures here of my adventures.

Had a great trip to Thailand. My sponsor and I went to Bangkok children’s orphanage a donated candies from America and Japan. A wonderful feeling was greeted us in the office. I’ll try to post a picture here soon. On the computer. Be leaving again to cycle South East Asia. It’s a beautiful world to explore.
